Born and raised on the shores of Hawaii, and with family all across the globe, Lourdes always had a deep appreciation for different cultures and a passion for connecting with people.

She began her career as a microbiologist where she honed her technical skills. Lourdes found herself yearning for a role where she could make a more significant impact. Inspired by the challenges and opportunities within her field, she transitioned to a career in human-centered design.

Through a combination of self-education, volunteering, and Hawai’i Pacific University’s Strategic Communication graduate program, Lourdes developed a strong foundation in communication, multimedia, and human-centered design.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she’s a dedicated musician, karate student, and video game enthusiast, always seeking new ways to enrich her life and connect with others.
