Owner and Patissier, Clair Choux, wanted a logo to use for her bakery’s merchandise and corporate communications. The bakery, located in Honolulu, HI, specializes in French-style laminated pastries, and the welcomes customers to enjoy themselves in its light and bright interior. As the graphic designer, it was my job to embody Clair’s playful personality and love for her art form into the logo. It was natural to showcase the iconic and well-loved pastry: a croissant.
